The Relief Teacher will assist the respective Head of Department/Assistant
Head to carry out the following duties:

Prepare lessons according to the department's requirements

Apply pedagogy which is aligned with that of the school/department

Set and mark assignments/tests of your classes

Track and monitor pupils' performance and if necessary conduct remedial lessons

Communicate with parents of the pupil with regard to behaviour in school, academic performance or any intervention that is necessary for the well-being of the pupil

A good Bachelor Degree in the relevant discipline with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)

Non Teaching Positions
1. Learning & Technology Designer (LTD)
The LTD will:
-
collaborate with teachers to bring innovative EdTech ideas into reality through iterative and learner/user-centred design, prototyping, and development.
-
coach and support teachers in using educational technologies, ensuring effective integration with existing curricula.
-
work closely with Academic Heads of Dept to understand the unique needs of the various departments and work on projects to best harness technology to transform teaching and learning.
-
support meaningful integration technology into the classroom, to enhance the learning experience for students (e.g. greater personalisation) and empower educators with tailored tech solutions for high-ability learners.
-
co-identify instructional challenges faced by teachers and create, curate and experiment with cutting-edge tools/resources/solutions that will transform teaching and learning for high-ability learners.
-
research and stay updated on the latest trends in educational technology, recommending and testing new tools that can enhance learning outcomes.
-
partner members of ICT Hub to evaluate the implementation of the school’s ICT focus, programmes and direction in alignment with the school’s strategic thrusts and national goals.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology, Computer Science, Computing & Design, or a related field
-
Experience with coding languages such as Python and JavaScript, and familiarity with prototyping, wireframing and design software.
-
Knowledge of education, instructional design, and learning theory is a plus.
-
Proactive, team player who is an independent worker, strong interpersonal skills, an analytical and creative problem-solver, passion for ICT, new media and new technology
-
Good verbal and written communication skills
-
Experience with Learning Management Systems and AR/VR, gamification, AI in education, and other emerging EdTech trends is a plus.

Background in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles is a plus.
2. Developer, Information Technology
The Developer provides analytical support in designing technology solutions that address the school’s requirements. This role involves partnering with stakeholders to identify, clarify, and document educational needs effectively. The Developer assists in evaluating the viability and effectiveness of potential solutions to ensure they meet user needs. Additionally, the person in this role will have to facilitate clear communication between teaching and technology teams to align objectives and expectations. This position reports to the Manager, Information Technology.
Role & Responsibilities

Provide support for new and existing web and database applications.
-
Conduct user requirement analysis for the development / implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
-
Evaluate potential solutions and make recommendations to resolve operational problems.
-
Involvement in the system integration testing phase prior to implementation.
-
Plan and coordinate end-user training for any system implementations or enhancements.
-
Liaise closely with users and build good rapport.
-
Liaise closely with vendors in project implementation, application testing, supporting application patches and upgrades in accordance with project methodologies and policies.
-
Support the team in defining project requirements, tracking and documentation.

Any relevant ad-hoc duties.

3. Officer, Library (Temporary)
As a Library Officer, you will assist the Library Manager in delivering high-quality library services to students and staff. You will play a key role in promoting the library as a vital resource for learning, research, and community engagement.
Responsibilities:

Perform circulation duties, manage user services, and promote library collections and services.
-
Compile data for reports and support cataloguing and digital resource management.
-
Provide administrative, procurement, and finance-related support.
-
Maintain records of library activities and ensure proper shelving and maintenance.
-
Supervise student volunteers and assist with library workshops and programs.
-
Support readers’ advisories, maintain space, and handle ad-hoc duties as needed.
Requirements
-
A Diploma and/or Degree qualification, or equivalent.
-
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
-
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Proficiency in using digital resources e.g., Powerpoint, Canva, Google Workspace, Padlet

Sound organisational, problem solving and time management skills.

A proactive team player who can work independently.

Previous experience in a school library environment would be an added advantage.

4. CCA Flexi Adjunct Teachers
Teachers-in-charge of co-curricular activities (CCA) play an important role in managing the CCA in a school. Your main responsibilities as a CCA teacher are:

To collaborate with other teachers IC of CCA and the coach/ instructor in delivery of the CCA Programme to achieve CCA objectives
-
To monitor students’ participation
-
To assist in coordinating CCA resources for effective CCA delivery and ensure that CCA attendance are submitted on time and with accuracy
Requirements

Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Able to commit to up to 1 academic year

Prior teaching experience or experience working on youth programmes is an advantage

Registered with MOE as FAJT
5. Education & Career Guidance Counsellor (6-months)
Education & Career Guidance

Provide ECG Counselling for students

Prepare or make available ECG resources to students

Carry out ECG activities planned for Sem 1, 2025

Conduct sessions for students on executive functioning skills and strategies (Sports Customisation)

Collaborate with MOE ECG counsellor to provide ECG support for the students
Counselling Services (if trained)

Provide counselling support where necessary
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in counselling, or its equivalent.

At least one year relevant counselling experience.
